Anthology of Ukrainian Classical Literature: 1798–1865. Lyric Poetry and Lyro-epic. Fiction
Антология на украинската класическа литература: 1798—1865
Language: Bulgarian
The anthology traces the path of national revival through the prism of poetry, lyro-epic, and fiction. The amalgam of diverse attitudes, peirods, and trends is mixed with the instructive attitude of the Enlightenment, the subtle lyricism of Romanticism, and the profound psychologization of realism. The aroma of the Ukrainian steppe evokes a wide range of feelings: from the tragedy of the individual to fresh humor, from the dream of national liberation to the longing for personal happiness. In this way, the reader becomes acquainted with the pressing problems in Europe and the Ukrainian lands, with their everyday life, but also with the rich history carried in the consciousness of the people.
