   „This book tells the story of our ancestors — the ancient Bulgarians. In the composition I have adopted a somewhat unusual approach — going backwards from Asparuh Bulgaria back in time and space to the other Bulgarians. In this way, the ancient Bulgarian universe is outlined receding in time and expanding geographically, of which our Danube Bulgaria is a small offshoot. Knowing what happened later, we can venture further back in an exciting search for roots.“
