   The Ustovo Miscellany is written in the Greek alphabet in a local Rhodope dialect; it also contains features found in other Bulgarian dialects, primarily from the southwestern regions of the Bulgarian linguistic area, as well as vocabulary characteristic of Church Slavonic.
