   The edition is a summary of 16-years of research work by an interdisciplinary team of Bulgarian scholars working in the filed of sociology, cultural studies, literary studies, anthropology, education and psychology. The term "reading practices" is broad and includes uses of all kinds of reading, in all possible media. Particular attention is paid to the study of cultural inequalities and generational differences in the transition from print to electronic media; here the methods of traditional humanities and social sciences collaborate with those of digital humanities and social network studies.
