   The names of the physiological states of women represent a research question that has been treated only fragmentarily in Bulgarian linguistics. This study is the first work to investigate all the names of women's reproductive functions in the Bulgarian language. Thus, the monograph is a contribution to Bulgarian language research in lexical semantics and lexicology, but also in dialectology, ethno-linguistics and mytholinguistics.
