Corpus of Wall Paintings of the Seventeenth Century in Bulgaria

     The study describes the churches within the territory of modern Bulgaria with murals that have been painted during the seventeenth century. It includes whole extant murals or fragments of wall paintings. For this reason, the Corpus is the sole in terms of its exhaustiveness and scope documentation of Bulgarian wall-painting heritage of the age.
