    The Corpus contains 52 mural monuments. In the preface a general study featuring over 40 other painted churches is included. The registry of the churches provides systemised information about the mural monuments painted by a certain icon-painter. The book is written in Bulgarian with an iconographic index both in Bulgarian and in English. The edition is dedicated to the eightieth anniversary of Prof. Elka Bakalova.
