Major-General Theodosi Daskalov (1888—1945) was Minister of War of the Bulgarian Kingdom between 1938 and 1942. He administered the Ministry of War during one of the most critical periods of the Third Bulgarian State. Once fired, he did not hesitate to stand on anti-fascist positions in the midst of World War II. However, he was a member of the government that signed Bulgaria's accession to the Tripartite Pact on the 1 March 1941. Аfter the end of the war, General Daskalov was sentenced to death by the Communist "People's Court" and was shot dead in 1945, along with other prominent state and public figures.
