Protocols of the Proceedings of the Berlin Conference
Протоколите на Берлинския конгрес
Language: Bulgarian
The topic of the restoration of the Bulgarian state has always been of interest to Bulgarian researchers. The re-publication of Todor Ikonomov's book is an occasion to recall the intense international debates surrounding the birth of Bulgarian statehood and the creation of the conditions under which its political life would take shape. The Treaty of Berlin was the founding document of the new Bulgaria, adopted and approved by the European Concert, and so the debate over the laying of the foundations is important. The new edition of the Protocols is also a tribute to Todor Ikonomov (1835-1892), who proved to be one of the significant statesmen of the Principality of Bulgaria.
