One of a kind, like no other: Colonel Sava Stoyanovich (1875—1954)
Един от строя, един като никой друг. Полковник Сава Стоянович
Category: Bulgaria during the World War I
Language: Bulgarian

Excellent in his command position and loved by his soldiers, he was valued, though difficult to tolerate by the command. One of thousands of our officers who went through the war unshaven, sleep-deprived, and devoted to their duty. An ordinary hero. If you put him in the long column heading for the next front, you might not even notice him. But send him into position – and you don't want to be on the other side. That is why Sava Stoyanovich will remain one of the ranks, but also one like no other.
