The book offers an in-dept analysis of the bronze coins of the Roman city of Marcianopolis (1179 pieces), found in the large coin hoard from the village of Malinovo, Lovech region (Central Northern Bulgaria). All specimens were minted when the city authority became a part of the province Moesia Inferior. Amid the hoards found on the territory of the Thracian Roman provinces of Moesia Inferior and Thrace, Malinovo contains the largest number of coins of Marcianopolis.
