    The publication aims to present the military life in the town of Burgas during the Balkan War (19121913). The available archives reveal information about the port, the military hospitals in the town, the Ottoman prisoners of war and the wounded Bulgarian soldiers who are being treated in Burgas. The author examines in details the defence line of the Southwest Black Sea coast, the routes of the Ottoman and Bulgarian warships and the torpedoing of the Ottoman protected cruiser "Hamidiye" from the Bulgarian torpedo boat "Drazki".
