Ancient lamps: The collection of Varna Regional Historical Museum (Bulletin of the National Archaeological Institute, vol. 45)
Language: Bulgarian with an extended summary in English
The present volume offers to the public, in a most comprehensive form, an analysis of the largest ancient lamp collection in Bulgaria — that of the Regional Historical Museum in Varna (Northeast Bulgaria). The study of the collection resulted in the identification of several large chronological and technological groups of lamps, functioning in a long period — from 7th—6th century BC until the early 7th century AD.
