   The book examines the canonization and veneration of relics in the Orthodox Church, drawing on examples from Serbia and Bulgaria. The study focuses on traditional beliefs and religious practices during festivals and in everyday life. The anthropological approach also provides the historical context for these phenomena. The fate of bones and relics within the Christian worldview is examined within the geographical context of the Balkans, supported by archival and field research materials.
