Ohrid Menaion is a remarkable Bulgarian manuscript dated in 1435 (“SS. Cyril and Methodius” National Library in Sofia, №122). The book contains the only preserved copy of the original medieval Bulgarian Service of St. Clement of Ohrid, one of the four copies of the St. Clement's General Services and a copy of the St. Clement's Service for St. Alexius, Man of God. The first part of the menaion is for September — December (pp. 1—163). The study offers a linguistic and composition analysis and a dictionary-index of the Canon to the Mother of God by St. Theostirict, as well as incipitarium of the chants by genres.
