    The present study includes 88 monuments from the present-day Bulgarian lands, built before 20th century. The mnograph focuses on two main topics related to the elements of mosque interior and the architectural features of mosques of various type, and namely composition and decoration. Special attention is paid to how Ottoman mosque architecture and its interior elements were influenced by non-Ottoman architectural developments.
