The Law on Granting National Pensions to Participants in the Bulgarian Liberation Struggles was published on February 3, 1943. By September 9, 1944, over 10000 applications for a national pension were submitted by Bulgarian revolutionaries who took part in the national struggles in Macedonia, Edirne region, Dobrudja and the Western Outlands. Of these, 4010 applications were approved. The edition presents information about these pension cases, which contributes to clarifying the circumstances and facts from the history of the Macedonian-Edirne liberation struggles and revolutionary movements in Dobrudja and the Western Outlands, as well as to highlighting the names of unknown and forgotten revolutionaries.
