   The study examines the material world of Bulgarians during the National Revival period, their consumer preferences, fashions, and traditions, and the emergence of a national market before the Liberation. Data has been collected on dozens of goods traded in Bulgarian lands between 1750 and 1878. The prices of grain and flour products, vegetables, legumes, fruits and nuts, dairy products, meat, fish, sweets, spices, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, large and small domestic animals have been systematized.
