Nostalgia for Socialism in Bulgaria

     The book is devoted to the nostalgia for socialism in Bulgaria and to the people who are subject to these political orientations. The text draws attention to the properties of human memory, of individual generations that are having nostalgia for socialism, the mechanisms that provoke this attitude to the pas and the typology of nostalgic groups. The consequences of mythologizing the socialist past and staring at this controversial time are also commented. A new historical-ethnographic approach to research has been used, as the work relies on extensive empirical ethnographic material collected over more than 25 years.
