   The new edition of Literature and Literacy in Bulgaria 9th—21st century presents five "scenes" from the literary and cultural history of Bulgaria: Middle Ages, National Revival, Modernity, Socialism and Contemporaneity. The publication outlines a synthetic picture of literary life within the framework of the thousand-year-old Bulgarian culture. In the "Library" section, literary works characteristic of the respective periods are presented.
