     The topic of the proposed study is a semantic and functional analysis of the images on the stone doors of the monumental tomb in the Golyama Kosmatka tumulus (end of 3rd century BC). The author collects and interpret the available information about the contamination of the images/names of Helios and Apollo in their shared capacity of solar deities, which can be traced in the evidence of the written sources and in the monuments of art.
