Yova Raevska is one of the most prominent Bulgarian ceramics artists of of the 20th century. For more than 60 years, she relentlessly explored the field of decorative applied arts, employing creative and original approaches that resulted in a legacy of bold and unique pieces. During her lifetime, Raevska organized several solo exhibitions of ceramics, paving the way for new artists and enhancing and elevating the development of ceramics in Bulgaria. She was also a supporter of Bulgarian industrial production and was known for a commitment to sharing her passion collaborating with artists and others to create models for reproduction.
