     On the basis of the constitutional norms, in the context of the specific socio-economic situation in the Bulgarian society in 1894—1912, the manifestation of the parliamentary principles in the socio-political life is analyzed. The complex relationships between the legislative and executive authorities, between the ruling and the opposition in the eternal power competition, as well as the role of the political parties in the parliamentary governance are discussed.
