Inscriptions of Alawi population in the vicinity of Kurdzhali

     The present study analyzes the tombstones with inscriptions of Arabic letters with the Ottoman-Turkish alphabet, preserved in the village of Brosh near by Kurdzhali, Southeast Bulgaria. They date back from 1798/1799 by 1914/1915. The authores gives a detailed descriptions of the epigraph monuments, the text transliretared in Latin, translation in Bulgarian and comments on the inscriptions.
