     The studying of the marginal notes in the Slavonic manuscripts, as well as of the mystifications known so far, related to the Bulgarian manuscript tradition, is very interesting and exciting for colleagues from different scientific fields. The present collection is a result of a discussion on the subject: Marginal notes as a document and myth creation. Authenticity and falsifications in the chronicle stories from 17th to 19th century. The authors are presenting different views to the subject study the same facts from different points of view or connect various aspects of the critical study of the past texts. In the collection are included studies on Balkan literary traditions — South Slavonic and Bulgarian, Greek, Arabic, Ottoman Turkish.
