   The book collects two of the books of the German scientist Dr. Johann Georg von Hahn "Reise von Belgrad nach Salonik" (Wien, 1861 and 1868) and "Gebiete des Drin und Vardar" (Wien, 1867). These studies reflect the results of his surveys in the Morava Valley and Vardar Macedonia in 1858 and in Albania, western parts of Aegean Macedonia and southern parts of Vardar Macedonia in 1863. The edition includes the analysis of Alexander Teodorov-Balan on the first book "Bulgarians in Southwest Moravia by J. von Hahn" (Sofia, 1917). These three works are published in Bulgarian for the first time. The book is illustrated with numerous photographs, including over 30 taken in 1863 by the famous Austro-Hungarian photographer Dr. Josef Szekely.
