    The monograph studies the background of the Macedonian Question for creation of which the Hungarian aristocrat Count Andrássy Gyula — Foreign Minister of Austro-Hungary (1871—1879) played a significant role. On July 8, 1876 the Reichstadt Agreement was concluded between the Russian and the Habsburg Empire under which the creation of a large Slavic state at the Balkans in the form of Bulgaria have been broken down.
