Между Дунав и Черно море, или пет години в България
Language: Bulgarian
Henry Barkley (1837—1903) spent twelve years in the Ottoman Empire, where he was employed as an engineer on the railways. He had ample time and opportunity to get to know the Bulgarian lands and people, recording his impressions and incidents in a light and interesting style, without deliberately taking sides.
