    The book presents a detailed biographical study of Prof. Marin Drinov (1838—1906) — a scientist, historian, publicist and prominent public figure. Marin Drinov is one of the founders of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (then the Bulgarian Literary Society) and the Tarnovo Constitution. He have proposed Sofia for the new Bulgarian capital and he played a decisive role in the standardization of the Modern Bulgarian language.
