   The writing work of Yordan Yovkov is one of the most frequently analyzed in Bulgarian literature. The proposed book interprets the stories from the position of one of the most rapidly developing parts of literary theory - narratology. Until now, many of the questions related to Yovkov's narrative techniques have been raised by analysts. However, the present study offers a more systematic approach to the writer's narrative technique, which largely leads to a rethinking of some of the established clichés in the interpretation of the works of this great Bulgarian storyteller.
