Margarita Karamihova. A tale for Osman Baba

     Ethnographic study on the Shrine Osman Baba located in the foothills of Rhodope Mountains (Southeast Bulgaria). The shire is consisting of Tekke (monastery) and a Türbe (sepulcher). The Türbe of Osman Baba was built in the second half of the 15th century. The religious activities in the shire is conducted by the religious community of Alevi — the followers of heterodox Islam from different orders in the Balkans.
