Tsanko Lavrenov is one of the names in Bulgarian cultural history, for whom everything seems to have been said. He is highly praised as an artist and authority in the cultural life of Bulgaria between the 1930s and 1970s. Although today he is considered by many as very well known, another meeting with him presents us with a number of unexplored issues both in the study of his work and in common processes in the history of Bulgarian art.
