Category: Medieval Europe
Антихристът и Светецът
Language: Bulgarian

This is a book about power, the pursuit of it, the conquest and its legal application in the thirteenth century. Two remarkable rulers are at the center of the text Emperor Frederick II Hohenstaufen, rebuked by the Church and accused of Antichrist, and King Louis IX, canonized after his death as a saint. Two personalities acting in different circumstances, but both respecting law and justice, good administrators and participants in Crusades. Different, but also the same in the application of power.
