The appearance of prepositional phrases such as "in relation to" and "independently of" is a phenomenon that marks the development of all modern languages. This book presents the results of a study of over 200 prepositional units in Bulgarian. The focus is on the semantics, structural and morpho-syntactic features of compound prepositional units, with special attention paid to deadverbial comitative expressions of the type "together with" and "simultaneously with".
