“Shadow economy” as a deviant practice
The book contains intriguing and provocative findings describing the attitudes and psychological readiness of Bulgarians to use deviant shady practices in their daily economic behavior. In addition to analyzing attitudes toward the use of deviant behavioral patterns, the monograph offers an original view of four habitats of informality and highlights eight behavioral patterns typical for a society in anomie. The factors that determine the choice of deviant behavioral models are critically analyzed and on this basis it is recommended how these factors could be managed in order to create prerequisites for individuals to return to socially-sanctioned behavior.
