   The catalog provides information about the cultural development of Southwest Bulgaria during the prehistoric periods. The region is mountainous with two large rivers — Strymon and Nestos, which serve as natural roads used for migration, cultural and trade contacts incuding for the settlement of the earliest farmers who came here in the Early Neolithic. The publication is accompanied by a rich photographic material of archeological sites and objects from the life and culture of the prehistoric population.
