The collection is dedicated to Prof. Vladimir Penchev — folklorist, ethnologist and anthropologist, author of numerous studies and lecturer in universities both in our country and abroad. His works in the field of Slavic and Bohemian studies occupies an important place in modern Bulgarian humanitaristic. The publication presents papers from a scholarly conference dedicated to his 60th anniversary in 2017. The collection includes texts by Bulgarian, Slovak and Czech researchers.
