   A historical essay on the town of Plovidv during the Provisional Russian Administration, established for Bulgarian territories liberated by the Imperial Russian Army during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877—1878. Between May and October 1878 the city was the capital of the Provisional Russian Administration in Bulgaria.
