   The book introduces European comparative literature. In the five chapters of the book, mytho-criticism, literary history, the theory of narration, the commonality between literature and music, and the psychological novel are presented. The examples of more than 20 fiction writers are taken from European literatures in their modern development, mainly in the 19th, 20th and early 21st centuries. Bulgarian writers are seen in a new environment, through comparisons with French, Romanian, German, Greek novelists.
