Behavioral and socio-psychological dimensions of the market order: Status, happiness and well-being
Поведенчески и социалнопсихологически измерения на пазарния ред
Language: Bulgarian

If the goal of the economy is the maximum happiness of individuals, then is the way to achieve this happiness is to increase consumer goods? Why is the reduction of working hours and the provision of more leisure and creative activities still being postponed, when increased productivity through technology has long made this possible?

With the increase of material well-being, human needs increase, which testifies to the social nature of their emergence. Based on this psychological phenomenon, the market system manages to ensure its long-term existence and achieve its leading position in the modern world. An effective and well-informed critique of its shortcomings, as well as a discussion of its sustainability, can be best based on an understanding of the main behavioral mechanisms of action.
