Семиотични аспекти на бимодалния билингвизъм
Category: LinguisticsPedagogy
Language: Bulgarian

Language, inextricably linked to literacy, is an essential content component of any educational policy because it is both the goal of learning and a means of teaching knowledge, skills and attitudes. For hearing-impaired children and their learning, language is a challenge caused by the biological deficiency of one of the sensory channels ensuring the natural process of language acquisition. The purpose of this research is to carry out a study of the sign language of people with hearing impairment in the territory of Bulgaria, making an attempt to systematically describe it in order to create a verbal-gestural dictionary.
