Adriana Kovacheva. The (not)noticeable interpreter: Dora Gabe's emancipatory translational practices. In Bulgarian

The book discusses the translations of the poetess made in the 1930s, 1960s and 1970s. The translatological analysis of the works is situated in the context of the rarely commented facts of the translator's biography. The research interest focuses on Dora Gabe's experience during the World War II, her friendship with Polish poetess Anna Kamieńska and the collaboration with the Maccabi newspaper. The presented interpretations of literary texts, archival materials and biographical documents allow a more complete description of the poetess's translational strategy.
