This monograph is the result of many years of observations of phonological processes characteristic of the areas of Romance and Slavic languages, and aims to highlight similarities and differences in them by means of phonetics (articulation, acoustic, perceptual) and phonology of various stages of its development (generative, linear and autosegmental, theory of optimality).
