     The album presents the collection of the Chiprovtsi kilims (traditional handmade flatwoven kilim rugs with two identical sides) of Historical museum of Chiprovtsi and of Mr Jaap van Beelen. The carpets date from the beginning of the 18th century to the second half of the 20th century. Archival photographs and documents present the development of Chiprovtsi carpet weaving industry.
