   The monograph presents the cultural transformations of various ritual systems in the 21st century. On the basis of rich field material from Bulgrian traditional culture, the dynamics and development of customs are analyzed in the context of traditional-ritual complexes that carry over the centuries the codes of cultural memory. A careful study of the typological features of local cultures gives grounds for defining them as complex cultural-historical phenomena where nature, memory, social rhythm and the personale experience of each individual coexist. The presented ritual complexes contain the overall idea of ​​the structure and functioning of the world, characteristic of the given society at a certain historical stage.
