   Kapka Kuneva creates objects from paper and cardboard, which she interprets with directed lighting. She photographs them and uses the digitally processed photos in illustrations and book covers, in posters or as independent artworks. She also gets drawn toward light art installations made of aluminum. She defines them as parallel shadow spaces in which, with the help of a system of lighting bodies, she creates a “light sandwich” of overlapping drawings.
