   The book traces the 125-year history of the church, built in 1897 especially for the cadets and teachers of the Military School in Sofia. After 1944, the church became an ordinary building. Prohibition and oblivion go hand in hand, helping the "former church" to lose its status as a cultural monument. After the democratic changes of 1989, the church of the Holy Archangels at the Rakovski National Defence College was restored.
