     In the period from the early 1950s to the 1990s in Socialist Bulgaria emerged the so-called Estrada music — a significant phenomenon in the field of popular music. Numerous pop songs are produced by Bulgarian composers, poets/lyricists, arrangers, singers and instrumentalists, many of whom are still in the cultural memory of the people in the country. The proposed book examines Bulgarian Estrada music from a musicological point of view.
