The monograph explores the activities of the Comintern (Communist International) among the peasants' political organizations on the Balkans. The object of the study is the most active period of the Comintern (1923—1931) when the Peasants' International (Krestintern) was created. The Balkan agrarian parties which were analysed are the Bulgarian Agrarian National Union, the Croatian Peasant Party, the Alliance of Agrarians in Yugoslavia, the National Agrarian Party in Romania and the Agricultural Party of Greece.
