From the archive of Simeon Radev
Из архива на Симеон Радев
Language: Bulgarian
A documentary edition presents part of the epistolary legacy of the prominent Bulgarian publicist, publisher, historian and diplomat Simeon Radev (1879—1967). The collection includes 741 documents from the personal archive of Simeon Radev, stored in the Central State Archives. The publication is structured in three main sections: the first includes documents from his cultural, revolutionary and scientific activities; the second from his work as a diplomat; and the third — his early literary attempts when he was a student at the Galata-Sarai Lyceum in Constantinople. The included correspondences of Simeon Radev are with the most authoritative of his contemporaries, statesmen, politicians, freemasons, scientific, cultural, church and diplomatic figures. When the letters are unfolded, the reader will be convinced that he is a brilliant orator, and his speeches through the League of Nations at Geneva can serve as an unsurpassed example of our diplomacy.
